Shaw Moisture Meters sample systems are engineered solutions for extracting and analysing a representative sample of the air or gas, which is then either vented off to atmosphere or returned back to the process.
The range of sample systems has been developed throughout 60 years of experience in industrial moisture analysis. For long term performance and reliability, even in the toughest applications, all SHAW sample systems are built using the highest quality components.
All Shaw Moisture Meters sample systems are manufactured in the UK. The SU3 sample system preconditions the gas sample prior to taking dewpoint readings, providing ideal operating conditions to ensure that the sample pressure and flow are suitable for trace moisture measurement.
Simple to setup and install, the SU3 provides: reduced inlet pressure from up to 200 bar (3000 psi), sample flow adjustment up to 10 litres per minute and particle filtration of 0.1 micron on a plate that can be attached to the SADP and SADP-D carrying case. The high grade stainless steel filter unit contains a removable housing for access to replaceable filter cartridges. Constructed using stainless steel fittings and pipework, the SU3 sample system is connected to the SADP portable dewpoint meter via the hose tail fittings.
With no stored energy parts, the attached SU3 sample system and SADP/SADP-D portable dewpoint meter can be used in hazardous environments.
Designed to provide ideal sampling conditions for dewpoint measurement, the SU3 Sample System is a simple and effective conditioning panel. Simple to set up and install, the SU3 sample plate comprises a filter unit, pressure regulator (200 bar), pressure gauge, and flow meter on a sample plate that fits on the side of the SADP/SADP-D dewpoint meter. A popular choice where a simple solution for dewpoint sampling is required.
