TROTEC SL300 Ultrasound Detector

When water or air flows out under pressure, a noise is generated which can be propagated as a body of sound in the conducting material and can be limited by listening. These sounds include auditory and ultrasound. Ultrasound is not audible for the human ear.
The SL3000 records ultrasonic signals and converts them into audible signals. At the same time, the level of the recorded sound is indicated on a display numerically and additionally in the form of an indicator beam.

The SL3000 is ideally suited for the preventive monitoring and / or localisation of faults and leakages on non-concealed pressure pipes and pipes fittings, mechanical bearings and electrical components.
By means of an optional ultrasonic transmitter, pressureless systems, it can also check for leaks and pressure-free systems, such as window frames or door frames.
