Use the Time Electronics 5068 to accurately calibrate insulation testers and megohmeters that use test voltages up to 2.5kV.
This device features insulation resistance ranges of 10GΩ, 1GΩ, 400MΩ, 250MΩ, 100MΩ, 10MΩ, 1MΩ, 500KΩ and100KΩ, low ohm resistance ranges of 1Ω, 10Ω, 100Ω and 1KΩ and also contains selectable continuity.
Since this device runs on rechargeable batteries, connection to the mains isn't necessary. This filters out the effects of stray leakage cause by mains power. When calibrating an insulation tester the 5068 allows the tester to be checked for open circuit voltage and short circuit current.
The 5068 also includes nine selectable precision resistors, fully shrouded safety connectors and comes with 4 fixed low resistance values for verification of low ohm ranges and continuity.
