Megger OTS60AF 60kV Laboratory Oil Tester Details
The Megger OTS60AF is used to accurately determine the level of breakdown voltage within oil.

Featuring the ability to apply voltage up to 60kV, the OTS60AF ensures that an oil sample is safely contained within a testing chamber and that voltage can be applied without risk to the user. The breakdown of the oil can be viewed either through the transparent lid or full breakdown information is relayed through an LCD screen integrated directly into the tester.

This oil tester is suitable for use with mineral, ester and silicon insulating liquids and comes as standard with a lock-in precision oil vessel with lockable gap setting. Once an oil sample is placed within the testing chamber the OTS60AF will automatically apply voltage to the oil sample until breakdown occurs, allowing the user to easily tell what levels of voltage the insulating oil can withstand. Contaminants within oil can affect its ability to be a safe insulative property, so regular testing with a device such as the OTS60AF is essential to ensure correct oil operation.

Additional features of this tester include the ability to automatically measure the temperature of an oil sample, a full colour display that can even be viewed outdoors in direct sunlight and the ability to shut off a test and safely disperse levels of high voltage.
