TINKER & RASOR AC-15 AC Warning System

The Tinker & Rasor Model AC-15 Warning System detects potential differences of AC between structure and ground for job site safety of personnel. The AC-15 AC Warning System is an instrument that detects potential differences of 15V AC or more on a structure (NACE International SP0177-2007).

Designed for pipelines that run through high voltage electrical transmission corridors (right of ways). The AC-15 AC Warning System is designed to detect induced AC on pipelines. The AC-15 is designed to be used in the field at locations where personnel will or might encounter pipelines where induced AC is suspected or may be indicated. An AC voltage alarm begins to sound when 7 volts AC or greater is detected. The instrument’s alarm provides both audible and visual alerts that will become more prominent as the AC levels increase.
