TINKER & RASOR HD/AC High Voltage In-Plant Holiday Detector

The Tinker and Rasor, HD/AC In-Plant Holiday Detector provides the flexibility for thick-film coatings plants. The HD/AC offers Pulsating DC voltages ranging from 800 volts to 35,000 volts. The Tinker and Rasor Holiday Detectors have been used worldwide since 1948. The Tinker and Rasor HD/AC will allow the operator to set and forget the required voltage.

The HD/AC comes in a Military Spec case. The lid can be locked while the unit is operating, using a standard padlock. This will keep out personnel during operation. The HD-AC is powered by 110/ 240-volt AC at 60 or 50 CPS. An output plug is offered to be used for external alarms, such as a Klaxon or Lighting to announce a Holiday has been detected.

The Tinker & Rasor Model HD/AC In-Plant Holiday Detector is an all-purpose electrical inspection instrument which maintains a given inspection voltage in spite of the electrical load on the circuit. It is recommended for use on any pipe diameter as well as on flat surfaces when such surfaces are coated with a highly electrical resistance material, and when the surface beneath the coating is electrically conductive. The detector works equally well on damp or dry surfaces, and is especially desirable where humid conditions prevail. The instrument can be delivered for operation on either 110v or 220v AC power.
