Magnets find application in many processes in industry, research and quality control. Regular magnetic field measurements ensure optimal use in various areas. Continuous control of the permanent magnets prevents follow-up costs due to unplanned downtimes. The ideal auxiliary tool for checking permanent magnets is the magnetic field analyzer from PCE Instruments. The magnetic field analyzer is a compact precision instrument. It was specially developed to measure magnetism and is suitable for Tesla and Gauss measurements. The magnetic field analyzer is used wherever it goes about the field strength measurement on permanent magnets. Here, it convinces by the highest reliability and precision and at the same time, by the simplicity of the application.
The magnetic field analyzer consists of a compact display device and a sensor. The sensor uses the Hall-effect to determine the magnetic fields. The application of the magnetic field analyzer is simple and effective. Before each measurement, the sensor should be adjusted to the ambient temperature. To record the measured values, the cover must be removed and the sensor head should be placed in the middle of the magnetic field to be measured. In order to be able to read the respective maximum value correctly, the magnetic field analyzer has a hold function. At the push of a button, the magnetic field analyzer shows the measured maximum value in the negative and positive range.
With a measuring range of 2,400 mT, the Electromagnetic Field Meter covers a wide range of measuring tasks. The field strength meter has an accuracy of 1%. This makes the Electromagnetic Field Meter a very precise measuring device. For example, the Electromagnetic Field Meter can be used to test relays and permanent magnets for the existing magnetic field. The Electromagnetic Field Meter is therefore used in production processes or in quality control.
With the backlight on the Electromagnetic Field Meter, the measured values are always easy to read even in poor lighting. Thanks to the automatic switch-off function, the Electromagnetic Field Meter automatically switches itself off after 5 minutes. This ensures that the battery of the Electromagnetic Field Meter does not discharge completely.
