Megger TXL 870 Utility Battery Extra Load Unit
Providing higher load currents for testing with TORKEL battery load units, the Megger TXL 870 Utility Battery Extra Load Unit is ideal for use in constant current or constant power tests, such as those on switchgear and other equipment in high-voltage substations and industrial environments.

Connecting directly to the battery, the Megger Torkel measures the total current using a clamp-on ammeter and when used in conjunction with a TXL unit allows you to discharge batteries with currents of up to several kA.

With useful features such as automatic shut down when the Torkel is stopped, the Megger TXL 870 Utility Battery Extra Load Unit is the perfect accompaniment to the Torkel 840 Utility Battery Load Tester.
