The screw cap torque meter PCE-TTM is used for testing the torque on various kinds of screw caps. That screw cap torque tester determines quickly and with certainty the required expenditure of force for opening and closing screw caps. Therefore the course of the torque test is recorded continuously, so that the results can be evaluated either at the screw cap torque tester itself or on a computer. Especially in laboratories of packaging industries the screw cap torque tester is used, when they invent, develop or test the packaging for food industries, cosmetics and a number of other industrial areas. Furthermore the screw cap torque tester is designed for industries, that want to check the sealing force on their packaging. The screw cap torque tester fits to be placed on a table and spares due to its flat and broad design the need of additional installing equipment for fixation. The highly developed measurement system allows a high sampling rate of 1 kHz, which means that the screw cap torque tester is able to register a maximum of 1,000 measurement values per second and save and process those.
The internal data memory enables processing and evaluating the measured values of the screw cap torque tester in a graphic or tabular. The screw cap torque tester features a graphic display and is able to perform measurements in both rotational directions. Other functions are a PEAK hold function, threshold function, multilingual menu navigation and switchable measurement units. Due to raising demands of our customers, the screw cap torque tester supports an option of installing latest updates on the firmware manually.
