Sofamel PATC-MPUB/5050 Three-Phase Short Circuiting and Earthing Kit
The Sofamel PATC-MPUB/5050 Short Circuiting and Earthing Kit is ideal for phase earthing and short circuiting in medium voltage substations. Once installed, it helps protect the user from accidental commissioning or possible return voltages when he/she is carrying out repairs or maintenance.
The three MPU Clamps contained within the Sofamel PATC-MPUB/5050 can be fixed onto cylindrical conductors (ΓΈ30mm max.), flat bars (45mm max.), fixing points (25mm max.) and bending bus bars through a simple screw mechanism.
Four copper cables - one 2m long and three 0.75m long - allow the user to correctly earth/short out the right circuit and their PVC insulation ensures they are safe to use. A rubber-insulated trifurcating connector allows the copper wires to be safely connected to three-phase systems.
A TT-38A self-milling earthing lathe is also included alongside a 1.5m telescopic pole and a metallic transport case.
