SEBA Hydrometrie KLL-Light 50 Meter Electric Contact Meter

The new SEBA-Electric Contact Meter type KLL-Light is a portable, reliable instrument for measuring water level and total depth in boreholes, wells, reservoirs etc. It especially stands out for its fast and reliable data logging. The cable drum of the KLL-Light is made of lightweight, shock resistant polycarbonate,which is perfectly suited for field use due to its solidity. The corrosion resistant probe is connected via an anticorrosive polyethylene cable with two steel cores to the battery-powered signal unit in the cable drum.
The KLL-Light Electric Contact Meter is equipped with an acoustic signal as well as an optical signal (signal-LED). On deploying the probe into the borehole, well, reservoir or other, the optical and acoustical signals will indicate when the probe touches the water-level, since the electric circuit is closed by the liquid medium. At the sound of the signal, the depth can be read off the graduation at the cable in meters and centimeters.
Furthermore, a multicolor LED indicates the level of the 9 V monobloc battery. Optionally we offer a hanging solution to fix the cable drum to the top of 2” sounding tubes, allowing for an easier handling in the field.
