Through continuous monitoring, you can catch dangerous, costly hydrocarbon or volatile organic compound (VOC) leaks and take immediate action. OGI cameras are widely used in industrial settings, such as natural gas processing plants and offshore platforms. It can be easily integrated in housings with application-specific requirements.

FLIR's G300a is a powerful thermal imaging camera designed to constantly monitor an area for the presence of gas leaks.

An optical gas imaging camera (OGI), the G300a can be used to visualise completely invisible gas leaks, ensuring that the leak can be fixed and any employees can be instantly alerted to potentially hazardous gas content within the area.
The G300a is a fixed-mount camera; it is designed to be mounted in a spot and is controlled via ethernet and a TCP/IP network connection in order to constantly view a specific area within industrial settings, oil refineries, natural gas processing plants, offshore platforms, chemical/petrochemical complexes, biogas/power generation plants and anywhere else where gas leaks are a danger.
Optical gas cameras allow you to see what the naked eye can't. These cameras have FLIR's leading thermal imaging technology built-in, exceptionally high thermal sensitivity and low F-number to pinpoint tiny leaks and can even be used for the detection of harmful VOCs (volatile organic compounds) in the air.

This gas thermal camera also has 1-8x continuous digital zoom which can be controlled via ethernet, continuous/manual automatic image adjustment, standard imaging and high sensitivity mode, 60Hz frame rate, wide temperature range (-20 to +350°C) and several other advanced functions.
